Build a Stick Fort!
Here’s a screen free project you can do now that will keep giving all summer long. It has become a spring break tradition with my kids to build a stick fort in our backyard. It is both a mentally (designing and engineering the structure) and a physically (hauling the branches and building it) engaging project for us. It’s one or two days of teamwork to create it, then it becomes their favorite spot to play house, read books, hideout, etc.
